HWV in the Community
At our company, we pride ourselves on having a culture that deeply cares about everyone. We believe that it’s not just important to take care of our own employees, clients, and customers but it’s crucial to show compassion for those who don’t have as much opportunity. We believe that it is a part of our responsibility to give back to the less fortunate.
We want to make a difference by contributing to a better world, and we believe that is achieved through empowering and supporting those in need. Whether it’s through donations, community projects, or volunteer work, we are committed to giving back as much as we can. We strongly believe that we must give to receive and by engaging in such acts of kindness, we build a better understanding of each other and of our world. Our goal is to create a more loving and compassionate world in which everyone is taken care of, no matter what their circumstances may be.

Our company is committed to giving back to the community by feeding the homeless throughout the United States. We have partnered with local food banks, shelters and community organizations to distribute nutritious meals to those in need. Our team of dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to pack and distribute meals to homeless individuals, families and veterans who are unable to afford regular meals. We believe that everyone deserves access to healthy food, regardless of their financial situation, and that our efforts can positively impact the lives of those we serve. Our company also engages in regular fundraisers and charity events to raise money and awareness for hunger-related issues. We are proud to be making a difference in our community by providing essential resources to those who need it most.
Our company is dedicated to giving back to the community through beach cleanups, which we host four times a year in Santa Monica at Inkwell Beach. This historic location was once the only beach where Black Americans could visit during the era of segregation and was also home to Nicolas Gabaldon, the first documented surfer of African and Hispanic Descent. Our CEO and her friend worked alongside city hall in 2008 to get a plaque placed at the beach, commemorating its rich history and cultural significance. Today, the plaque remains in place, and our beach cleanups continue to serve as a way to honor the beach’s past while also preserving it for future generations. Through these efforts, we hope to inspire others to recognize the cultural value of their environment and take proactive steps to protect it.
Our company is committed to giving back to the community and we do this by hosting outings for women and children shelters twice a year. During these events, we take them out to the beach where we hire surf instructors to teach them how to surf. But it’s not just about the surfing, we also work with local businesses to provide refreshments and snacks, ensuring that the women and children have a fun and memorable day. Sometimes we may even intertwine these outings with our beach cleanups, allowing the women and children to participate in making a positive impact on the environment. We’re dedicated to providing these amazing experiences for those who may not have been able to otherwise and we feel that it’s our responsibility to give back to the community in any way that we can.
